Grasse

Grasse- la ville des parfurms. Since my early childhood memories I wished to go and visit one of parfumeries in Grasse. This year I finally found my way into Molinard. My passion for fragrances came when I got a set " how to create your own perfume "as a child. I remember that I spend hours to mix the perfect scent.  Grasse offers 3 factories to visit Galimard, Fragonard and Molinard. I decided to visit Molinard as it had been recommended to me by my  host. The visit was interesting and entertaining. In the shop I bought a selection of the latest Molinard fragrances and its ubiquitous 24 hours cream. I love it !!! The best smell ever, good treatment cream for chapped skin and the tube lasts for ages. I will stock up next time I will be in Grasse. A full review about the cream will be coming soon!

Aix-en-Provence

I was lucky enough to be able to meet up with old  friends on my birthday. I enjoyed walking through the streets and places full of memories.  The city is marvelous, full of art, music and students.
I truly recommend you to check it out on your next stop in the south of france.

Fontaines

One of the most beautiful villages of the Luberon- Fontaines de vaucluse. It was 38 degrees and I enjoyed relaxing next to the water. If you are around go and see the  " Moulin à papier".

Back from the road trip, I had an awesome time driving through the south of france and spain, more about it soon. The first stop I did  was  in a guest house booked over airbnb in Cavaillon. I had a splendid view over the luberon. see for yourself. I used this stay to explore cities nearby and hit the musée de la lavande...

Brandy Melville

When walking through the streets of St Géry in Bruxelles I discovered a nice brand. Unfortunately the shop was closed and we could not check it out. However the pieces look amazing in the e-shop. On my next trip to Paris, Amsterdam or Bruxelles I will try on some goodies and stock up on basics.
Here is a selection of my favorite pieces. Have you heard of Brandy Melville before ?

Brussel Vintage market

Yesterday I explored the vintage market in the Halles St Géry. The vintage market used to take place next to the canal but moved now to the halles in St Géry. It is a very small market compared to the ones in London or Paris but I liked it. The market takes places every first Sunday of the month.

I don't know Brussels very well, every time I stayed in BXL it was to catch a train or a plane. However yesterday I discovered Brussels from another side, the St Géry area is urban and trendy. Lots of cute cafés and upcoming brands....   a great escape from Luxembourg.

How are you spending your holidays ?
