A film to fall in love with...

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day.
A normal day for a lot of us and means the world to others. Whatever your feeling is about Valentines Day, you should never forget to keep up little surprises and everyday joys. Love is personal; it is all about neon golden moments, memories and emotions. So while I keep my plans secret.  I am however interested what are you plans for Valentines Day? Going to the restaurant?  Doing a wellness day at spa? Flying to Venice? A tour in the rollercoaster? Please feel free to share your opinions and special memories through comments.

I would like to share with you a stunning Italian movie about love that I saw a few weeks ago. “Io sono l’amore“, is the most touching moving I have seen in a long time.

A tragic love story set at the turn of the millennium in Milan. The film follows the fall of the haute bourgeoisie due to the forces of passion and unconditional love. “(IMD)

What I loved about the movie is the luminosity in the film and how the camera captures the images.  Tilda Swinton is representing a women in the middle of an identity crisis.   The music by John Adams gives the whole a dramatic touch. It is truly beautiful, a “ viaggio dei sensi “. Luca Guadagnino is a genius.

“ Every shot looks like a fashion layout, but the emotions are real “

“ In every sense “ I am love” is a stunning achievement “ Jay Weissberg

The film is being nominated for best costumes for the Oscars. Jil Sander has inspired the costumes from Antonella cannarozzi.
